Scope

This standard specifies the test method for detecting whether the amount of metal mixtures in paraffin that can be stained by sodium sulfide solution exceeds the limit by visual colorimetry. The limit, expressed in terms of lead, is 10 ppm (m/m). This standard applies to paraffin, liquid paraffin, and white oil.
