Scope

Main technical content: 5.2 Raw material management 5.2.1 Prevent rain exposure, mold, contamination, and rodent/insect infestation during the storage of feed raw materials. 5.2.2 Use the first-in, first-out principle to mix feed raw materials and maintain records of storage, usage, and inventory. 5.3 Pre-processing of raw materials 5.3.1 Remove foreign objects such as metals, stones, plastics, and packaging ropes from raw materials. 5.3.2 Crush or flatten fine feed materials like corn and soybean meal. 5.3.3 Cut short or crush forage materials like alfalfa and oats, as well as straw and vine-like materials using a chopper. 5.3.4 Use up all fermented slurry feed on the same day. If necessary, process it into silage feed. 5.3.5 Remove packaging materials such as film and netting from wrapped silage feed like corn stalks and use it up on the same day.
