Scope
This document describes the test methods for the opening torque, closing torque, and rotating torque of thermoplastic valves.
This document is applicable to all types of thermoplastic valves used for fluid delivery (hereinafter referred to as "valves"), including manual valves and power-driven valves.
Note: After long-term use of the valves in specific working environments or due to material wear or chemical corrosion, the torque may change. However, this document does not explain the relationship between the torque and its changes.
