Scope

This document specifies the composition, basic functions, performance characteristics, environmental adaptability, power requirements, safety, grounding requirements, electromagnetic compatibility, reliability, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of vehicle-mounted satellite communication earth stations used in the Ka band in a stationary state. This document is applicable to vehicle-mounted stationary communication stations that access Ka-band geostationary communication satellites and use satellite fixed services.
