Scope
This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, testing and inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of cotton plain fabrics.
This standard applies to cotton plain fabrics produced by weaving. This standard does not apply to jacquard fabrics, cut pile fabrics, and special-purpose fabrics.
