Scope: This document specifies the principles and green prevention and control technologies for high-standard prevention and control of diseases and pests in kiwifruit orchards in Pujiang County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. This document is applicable to the prevention and control of major diseases and pests in kiwifruit planting areas in Pujiang County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province; Main technical content: 4. Prevention and control principles: - Adhere to the plant protection principle of "prevention-oriented and integrated prevention and control"; - According to the characteristics of major diseases and pests in Pujiang kiwifruit (see Appendix A), prioritize agricultural prevention, physical prevention, and biological prevention, and supplement with chemical prevention to effectively control disease and pest damage. 5. Green prevention and control technologies 5.1 Plant quarantine: - Maintain quarantine for seedlings and other reproductive materials transported from other regions, and ensure they are free from quarantine objects and harmful diseases and pests not yet present in Pujiang. 5.2 Agricultural prevention: - Resistant varieties: Select varieties with strong disease resistance and resistant rootstocks according to local conditions. - Rational farming: Actively implement soil improvement to enhance nutrient absorption and utilization, promote healthy tree growth, and strengthen tree resistance. Adopt ground cover measures to control the breeding conditions of harmful organisms. - Scientific fertilization: Control nitrogen fertilizer based on soil characteristics and kiwifruit growth requirements, and increase the application of high-potassium fertilizers. - Pruning: Scientific shaping and rational pruning to maintain good ventilation and lighting in the crown, reasonable load, and strengthen tree vitality. - Garden cleaning: Clear the garden in winter, remove and destroy diseased and pest-infested branch
