Scope

This standard specifies the test method for measuring the compressive strength of concrete in highway engineering using a rebound hammer. The standard unifies the requirements for testing equipment, testing procedures, calculation methods, and strength curves to ensure the accuracy of the test results. This standard is applicable to the strength testing of concrete structures or components with a compressive strength of (10~60) MPa in highway engineering projects in Anhui Province. It is not applicable to the strength testing of concrete with significant differences between the surface and internal quality or with internal defects. The strength testing of crushed stone concrete structures in water transport projects can be carried out in accordance with this standard.
