Scope

This standard specifies the test solutions, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, result calculation, and test reports used in the accelerated aging test of artificial stone slabs in a neutral salt spray. This standard applies to artificial stone decorative panels (hereinafter referred to as panels) processed and synthesized with unsaturated polyester resin (or polymer) or water-hardening inorganic binders as the main binder, and having certain specifications in size and shape.
