Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, hygiene requirements for the production and processing process, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of coated candies. This standard applies to coated candies made by compression molding using ingredients such as edible glucose, maltodextrin, mulberry leaf powder, bitter melon powder, white kidney bean powder, lotus leaf powder, ginseng powder, kudzu root powder, yellow gentian powder, turmeric powder, L-arabinose, and magnesium stearate as main raw materials and auxiliary materials. The products of this standard should be based on ecological sustainable management principles, sourced from ecologically clean materials with rich healthy elements, and strictly comply with national laws and regulations on environmental protection in production, processing, and marketing. They should possess attributes such as greenness, nutrition, naturalness, healthiness, and low pollution. Main technical contents: 3.1.1 Mulberry leaf powder, bitter melon powder, white kidney bean powder, lotus leaf powder, ginseng powder, kudzu root powder, yellow gentian powder, and turmeric powder: They shall comply with the requirements of the Clean Production Standard for Traditional Chinese Medicine Pieces and Traditional Chinese Medicine Manufacturing (DB 11/T 675-2009). 3.1.2 L-arabinose: It shall comply with the requirements of QB/T 4321-2012. 3.1.3 Maltodextrin: It shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 20884-2007. 3.1.4 Magnesium stearate: It shall comply with the requirements of GB 1886.91-2016. 3.1.5 Edible glucose: It shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 20880-2007.
