Scope

This document describes a method for determining the glass transition temperature (Tg) of vulcanized rubber with a hardness range of 30IRHD to 80IRHD. The dynamic performance is measured by applying a specified strain and frequency in the form of a sine wave during a temperature scan, and the glass transition temperature (Tg) is determined by the peak value of the tanδ-temperature curve. The glass transition temperature (Tg) determined in this way can be used to guide the use temperature of the material.
