Scope

This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) in diesel fuel with a volume fraction of 1% to 20%. This standard is only applicable to the determination of FAME content. Biodiesel containing fatty acid ethyl ester (FAEE) will result in a negative deviation in the measurement.
