Scope

This standard specifies the methods for determining the route selection and scale, ship types, navigable water levels, etc. of coastal waterways in Guangdong Province, the technical requirements for the design of coastal waterways and buildings crossing or traversing them, as well as measures for ensuring the navigability of coastal waterways. This standard applies to the design of navigable waterways for sea-going vessels in the territorial waters and inland waters of Guangdong Province, the preliminary research, design, and navigability demonstration of buildings crossing or traversing waterways, and it also applies to the design of navigable waterways and buildings crossing or traversing them for existing or planned sea-going vessels on inland waterways.
