Scope

This standard applies to auxiliary umbrella skirts for external insulation of power transmission and transformation equipment operating under conditions of an environmental temperature of -40°C to +40°C and an altitude of less than 1,000 m, including post insulators, bushings, and disc-shaped suspension insulators, but not including lightning arresters, in 110 kV and above AC/DC systems.
