Scope

This specification is applicable to the geological survey work of large-scale water conservancy and hydropower projects. The geological survey of water conservancy and hydropower projects should be divided into the following stages: planning, project proposal, feasibility study, preliminary design, tender design, and construction detail design. The survey work in the project proposal stage should generally meet the depth requirements of the feasibility study stage. For the survey of the reinforcement and strengthening of dangerous reservoirs, it should be divided into three stages: safety evaluation, feasibility study, and preliminary design.
