Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for MJ threads used in aerospace products.
This document specifies the basic tooth profile of MJ threads and provides a series of diameter and pitch combinations. For threads with diameters of 1.6 mm to 300 mm, this document provides the basic dimensions and tolerances of diameter and pitch in the form of a table. For threads whose diameter and pitch values are not provided in the table, including those with diameters exceeding 300 mm, this document provides calculation methods for dimensions and tolerances.
The limit dimensions of bolts and nuts with a nominal diameter of 1.6 mm to 39 mm are specified in GB/T 43924.2—2024. The limit dimensions of threads for fluid system piping components are specified in GB/T 43924.3—2024.
