Scope
This standard specifies the management objectives and basic requirements for the management activities of alpha waste before disposal. This standard applies to the management of alpha waste before disposal generated from nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear material production and processing, nuclear facility decommissioning, isotope production and application, and research work. The management of alpha waste containing high-concentration uranium before disposal can be implemented with reference to this standard.
