Scope

This document describes six methods for testing the sealing performance of automotive wheels, namely helium testing, comparison testing, hydrogen testing, differential pressure testing, water testing, and compressed air testing.
This document is applicable to automotive wheels equipped with tubeless tires. Among these methods, helium testing and water testing are recommended for light alloy wheels, while comparison testing, hydrogen testing, differential pressure testing, and compressed air testing are recommended for steel wheels.
