Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for determining organic phosphorus pesticides in water. This standard is applicable to surface water, groundwater, seawater, domestic wastewater, and industrial wastewater for the determination of 28 types of organic phosphorus pesticides, including DDT, Fenamiphos, Phosmet, Phoxim, Cypermethrin, Methidathion, Aldicarb, Dimethoate, Diazinon, Esfenvalerate, Chlorpyrifos, Methyl Parathion, Phosphamidon, Methomyl, Cypermethrin, Malathion, Phosmet, Bromophos-methyl, Dimethoate, Diazinon, Esfenvalerate, Chlorpyrifos, Cypermethrin, Fenamiphos, and DDT. When the sampling volume for surface water, groundwater, and seawater is 1 L and the determination volume is 1.0 ml, the method detection limits for the 28 organic phosphorus pesticides range from 0.3 μg/L to 0.6 μg/L, and the determination limits range from 1.2 μg/L to 2.4 μg/L. When the sampling volume for domestic wastewater and industrial wastewater is 100 ml and the determination volume is 1.0 ml, the method detection limits for the 28 organic phosphorus pesticides range from 4 μg/L to 7 μg/L, and the determination limits range from 16 μg/L to 28 μg/L. The method detection limits and determination limits for the target compounds in this standard are detailed in Appendix A.
