Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for piston single-stage refrigerant compressors (hereinafter referred to as "compressors") and piston single-stage refrigerant compressor units (hereinafter referred to as "compressor units"). This standard applies to piston single-stage refrigerant compressors and piston single-stage refrigerant compressor units. This standard does not apply to compressors (units) using R744 as a refrigerant, nor to compressors (units) in the following products: -- household refrigerators and freezers; -- transportation and special-purpose refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
