Scope

This section specifies the use of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) to determine the contents of SiO2, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO, TiO2, and P2O5. This section is applicable to the determination of the contents of SiO2, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO, TiO2, and P2O5 in mullite. The determination ranges of each element are shown in Table 1.
