GB/Z 44630-2024 Hydraulic machines—Francis turbine pressure fluctuation transposition
Basic Information
Scope
This document provides a method for converting pressure pulsation under operating conditions for Francis turbines, mixed-flow pumps, and Francis turbines, including:
—— A description of pressure pulsation, the phenomena that cause pressure pulsation, and related issues;
—— This document covers types of pressure pulsation including, but not limited to, blade-passage vortices, tailwater pipe vortices, and dynamic-static interference between the turbine wheel and guide vanes;
—— It explains that operating conditions and the Tomas number (cavitation coefficient) are the main factors affecting pressure pulsation;
—— Recommended methods for measuring and analyzing pressure pulsation;
—— Methods for identifying potential resonance in model test benches and prototype machines;
—— Determining the method for converting results from model tests to prototypes, or providing methods for predicting pressure pulsation in prototypes based on statistics or experience;
—— Recommended pressure pulsation data acquisition systems, including the types and installation locations of sensors in models and prototypes, as well as defining similarity conditions between models and prototypes;
—— Introducing a method for comparing pressure pulsation measurement results from model turbines with those of corresponding prototype turbines;
—— Discussing parameters used for converting from models to prototypes, such as the peak-to-peak value, RMS value, or standard deviation in the time domain, and the relationship between the fundamental frequency and the rotational frequency in the frequency domain;
—— Discussing the uncertainty of converting pressure pulsation from models to prototypes;
—— Discussing factors affecting the conversion, including parts that cannot be simulated on model test benches, such as the water supply system and mechanical system of the prototype machine;
—— Establishing conversion me
