This document specifies the measurement, evaluation, and recording of mechanical vibration for positive displacement compressors (hereinafter referred to as "compressors"). This document is applicable to compressors driven by electric motors. The measurement and evaluation of mechanical vibration for compressors driven by other methods can be used for reference.
