Scope

This standard specifies the basic principles, essential content, and technical requirements for corrosion protection and safety during the design, manufacture, installation, modification, repair, use, and chemical cleaning of industrial boiler systems. This standard applies to fixed steam boilers and combined steam-water boilers using water as the medium, with a rated outlet steam pressure of less than 3.8 MPa (gauge pressure), as well as fixed pressurized hot water boilers and organic heat carrier boilers with a rated water outlet pressure of greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) or a rated thermal power of greater than or equal to 0.1 MW.
