Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the extraction, preservation, and submission of human blood samples for testing in road traffic law enforcement activities.
This standard applies to the collection of blood samples from individuals suspected of drinking alcohol or being intoxicated during road traffic law enforcement activities. The collection of blood samples from individuals suspected of using or injecting drugs, or taking other psychotropic or narcotic drugs controlled by the state can be implemented with reference to this standard. Public security organs may also refer to this standard when collecting blood samples for other cases or investigations.
