Scope

This standard applies to the source strength accounting of pollution sources in new (modified or expanded) projects and existing projects in the coking chemical industry. This standard applies to the source strength accounting of pollution sources under normal and abnormal emission conditions in the coking chemical industry, but does not apply to the source strength accounting of pollution sources under emergency situations such as sudden leaks, fires, and explosions. This standard applies to the source strength accounting of waste gas, wastewater, noise, and solid waste pollution sources in production processes such as coal preparation, coking, coke processing, gas purification, recovery of coking chemical products, and heat energy utilization. The types of coking furnaces include conventional coking furnaces, heat recovery coking furnaces, and semi-coke (lancarbon) carbonization furnaces. The source strength of boiler pollution sources that implement GB 13223 shall be accounted for in accordance with HJ 888; the source strength of boiler pollution sources that implement GB 13271 shall be accounted for in accordance with the Technical Guidelines for Source Strength Accounting of Boiler Pollution Sources.
