Scope

This standard specifies the development method for the Level 1 Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) of flooding inside nuclear power plants, and provides the analysis process and key points of the Level 1 PSA of flooding inside nuclear power plants. This standard is applicable to the Level 1 PSA of flooding inside pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants during power operation conditions. After considering the characteristics of the shutdown condition and making appropriate adjustments, it is also applicable to the Level 1 PSA of flooding inside nuclear power plants during the shutdown condition. Nuclear power plants of other reactor types may refer to and implement it accordingly.
