Scope

This standard specifies the personal and property safety, surrounding environment, achieving the intended function of the product, installation requirements, installation operations, inspection and trial run, testing methods, and qualification confirmation of installers involved in the installation of air-source heat pump water heaters (hereinafter referred to as heat pump water heaters) that comply with the standard GB/T 23137 after they leave the factory and are installed for users. This standard applies to the installation and service of air-source heat pump water heaters for household and similar purposes. This standard does not apply to heat pump water heaters for commercial or industrial purposes and similar applications, or those using CO2 as a refrigerant. The reinstallation of air-source heat pump water heaters for household and similar purposes (such as relocation installation, maintenance disassembly, etc.) can be carried out in accordance with this standard.
