Scope

This section specifies the test method for quantitatively determining the corrosive sulfide, dibenzyldisulfide (DBDS), in insulating fluids. This section is applicable to the determination of unused and used insulating fluids, with a DBDS concentration range of 5mg/kg to 600mg/kg.
