Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the mass concentrations of formic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, n-butyric acid, and n-pentanoic acid in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis oil using ion chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of the mass concentrations of formic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, n-butyric acid, and n-pentanoic acid in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis oil with a boiling point not exceeding 240°C, with a range of 15 mg/L to 1500 mg/L.
