This standard specifies the classification, specifications, and marking of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) composites for packaging, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to composites made by using nylon or polyester fiber as reinforcement materials, and coated on both sides with thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) through a cast lamination process.
