Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the geographical indication certification trademark regional protection scope, terms and definitions, environmental conditions of the production area, requirements, testing methods, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of Zigui White Peach. This standard applies to Zigui White Peach approved for registration by the China Intellectual Property Administration in accordance with the provisions of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China, the Implementing Regulations of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Regulations on the Registration and Management of Collective Trademarks and Certification Trademarks. Main technical contents: Place the samples under natural light, use a vernier caliper to measure the fruit diameter, detect abnormal odors by sniffing and tasting, and determine other indicators by visual inspection or measurement with measuring tools. When the fruit shows symptoms of pests or diseases on the outside or there are suspicions about the inside of the fruit, the sampled fruits should be cut open for inspection. If multiple defects exist in a single fruit, only the most significant defect should be recorded. According to the "Rules for the Use and Management of the Geographical Indication Certification Trademark of Zigui White Peach" stipulated in the preliminary approval announcement of the certification trademark No. 21456029 published by the China Intellectual Property Administration on March 13, 2018, the regional protection scope of Zigui White Peach is the Guojiaba Town, Moping Town, Qu Yuan Town, Guizhou Town, Yanglin Town, and Shazhenxi Town under the jurisdiction of Zigui County, Hubei Province, with a production area of 472.3 square kilometers. It is located at longitude 110°18′-111°0′ and latitude 30°38′-31°11′.
