Scope
This standard specifies the test equipment, test materials, sample preparation, test procedures, test results, and test reports for evaluating the original solution of hexavalent chromium-free passivation solution and the passivation film formed on the surface of galvanized sheet. This standard is applicable to the determination and evaluation of the performance of hexavalent chromium-free passivation solution and surface passivation film for galvanized sheet. This standard is not applicable to the determination and evaluation of the performance of chromium-free passivation film on silicon steel.
