Scope
This standard specifies the emission limits, measurement methods, and determination of measurement results for exhaust pollutants from in-use light-duty vehicles with internal combustion engines under steady-state operating conditions. This standard applies to in-use light-duty vehicles that use gasoline, single-fuel, and dual-fuel, but does not apply to full-time four-wheel-drive vehicles.
