Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection methods, hygiene requirements for the production and processing process, and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of organic yak milk powder. This standard applies to whole-fat, skimmed organic yak milk powder and formulated organic yak milk powder. Main technical content: I. Terms and Definitions 1.1 Organic Yak Milk Powder: A powdered product made from organic raw yak milk, either whole-fat or skimmed, through processes such as sterilization, concentration, and drying. 1.2 Formulated Organic Yak Milk Powder: A powdered product made from organic raw yak milk as the main ingredient, with the addition of other raw materials, and with or without food additives and nutritional fortifiers. The milk solids content in this product shall be not less than 70%. II. Technical Requirements 2.1 Raw Material Requirements 2.1.1 Organic Raw Yak Milk: It shall comply with the provisions of T/CXDYJ 0001–2019. 2.1.2 Other Raw Materials: It shall comply with the safety standards and/or relevant regulations for organic food. 2.2 Sensory Requirements 2.2.1 Color: Organic Yak Milk Powder: Uniform milky yellow; Formulated Organic Yak Milk Powder: Having the appropriate color. 2.2.2 Taste and Odor: Organic Yak Milk Powder: Having the unique fragrance of the product, without any abnormal odor; Formulated Organic Yak Milk Powder: Having the appropriate taste and odor. 2.2.3 Texture: Dry, uniform powder without lumps. 2.2.4 Inspection Methods: Take an appropriate sample and place it in a 50mL beaker. Observe the color and texture under natural light. Smell the odor, rinse with warm water, and taste the flavor. 2.3 Physical and Chemical Requirements 2.3.1 Fat/(%): Whole-fat organic yak milk powder: ≥30.0; Skimmed organic yak milk powder: ≤1.5.
