Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements for the shaping and pruning of Dashi grapes. This standard is applicable to the shaping and pruning of Dashi grapes in He Tou Town, Linhai City; Main technical content: 2. Shaping and pruning of young trees: - Based on different trellis systems and shaping methods, rationally arrange the main and auxiliary vines. - 2.1 Cultivating the main stem: After the planted seedlings sprout, select and retain one new shoot, erect a support frame to vertically guide it, and remove all auxiliary shoots below the height of the flat trellis. Based on the height of the main stem for different tree shapes, prune the main stem when the new shoot reaches a height of 20 cm below the trellis surface. - 2.2 Cultivating the main and auxiliary vines for fruiting: When the main vine reaches a length of 90–100 cm, prune the tip and remove all secondary auxiliary shoots emerging between leaf axils, retaining 3–4 leaves on each shoot. - 2.1.2 Cultivating fruiting main vines: - 3 Pruning of fruiting main vines: - 3.1 Winter pruning: The most suitable period for winter pruning is the middle of January. Determine the number of buds to be retained based on the planned yield. - 3.2 Summer pruning: During the grape growth season, control the tree by adopting summer pruning measures such as bud removal, shoot setting, tip pruning, and auxiliary shoot treatment. Tie up new shoots promptly before flowering and after yield determination. Remove tendrils in a timely manner during the growth season in combination with other summer management measures.
