Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, energy efficiency grades, energy efficiency limits, energy-saving evaluation values, test methods, and equipment and technical levels for the energy efficiency of steel rolling heating furnaces. This standard applies to step-beam type heating furnaces, push-steel type heating furnaces, and ring-type heating furnaces used in the steel rolling process, which are fueled by blast furnace gas, mixed gas, coke oven gas, and natural gas, and use air as an auxiliary fuel.
