Scope

This standard specifies the classification and grade designation methods for cold-rolled steel strips used in coated and plated substrates, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to cold-rolled steel strips with a thickness of 0.30mm to 3.00mm used in the manufacture of coated and plated substrates, such as for galvanized substrates.
