Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy-saving evaluation values, and energy efficiency grades for fan coil units.
This standard applies to units that are supplied with external cold water and hot water and consist of a fan and a single coil, with an air supply volume of less than 2,500 m3/h and an outlet static pressure of less than 100 Pa. It does not apply to fan coil units that come with their own cold and heat sources and direct evaporative coils, steam coils, or electric heating systems.
