Scope
This standard defines the standard communication protocol between the digital home information service platform (hereinafter referred to as the service platform) and the digital home gateway device (hereinafter referred to as the gateway device), and constrains the necessary identifiers and functional characteristics of the service platform, gateway device, and digital home physical device units. This standard applies to the communication between digital home physical device units (hereinafter referred to as physical device units) and the digital home information service platform through digital home gateway devices to obtain relevant services. The communication between gateways and service platforms in other limited scopes also applies to this standard.
