Scope

This standard specifies the double-antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction methods for detecting the bean yellow mosaic virus infecting gladioli (see Appendix A). This standard is applicable to the detection of living gladioli plant materials, including asexual reproduction materials, tissue culture seedlings, seeds, and plants, that may carry the bean yellow mosaic virus.
