Scope

Scope: This document specifies the selection of rice seeds and weed control techniques for imidazolinone herbicides in the Yinshui Irrigation District of Ningxia. This document is applicable to rice production in the Yinshui Irrigation District of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Main technical contents: Terms and definitions: This document does not redefine any terms. 4. Seed selection: Early-maturing, lodging-resistant, disease-resistant, and stress-resistant rice seeds that are tolerant to imidazolinone herbicides. The quality shall comply with the provisions of GB 4404.1. 5. Weed control: 5.1 Herbicide: Herbicides such as amisulbrom or mecoprop. 5.2 Application method: When the main weeds are in the 2-3 leaf stage, use imidazolinone herbicides (24% amisulbrom 30ml-40ml or 4% mecoprop emulsion 70ml-80ml) per 666.7m2, mixed with 20kg-30kg of water, and spray evenly. Before spraying, drain the rice field until two-thirds of the weeds are exposed to the water surface. Within 24h-72h after spraying, establish a water layer of 5cm-7cm and maintain it for 5d-7d. The safe use of herbicides shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 1997.
