Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general provisions, longitudinal wave detection, transverse wave detection, and inspection reports for the ultrasonic inspection of the vessel bodies of in-service artificial crystal vessels (hereinafter referred to as "crystal vessels"). This standard is applicable to the ultrasonic inspection of steel crystal vessel bodies using the pulse reflection ultrasonic inspection method, where the ratio of the inner diameter to the outer diameter is ≥50.
