Scope: This standard specifies the geographical production area, requirements, experimental methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of black fungus in Wu Cui District (formerly Cui Lan District). Requirements 5.1 Variety selection and specific requirements: Only excellent varieties registered in accordance with the National “Edible Fungus Strain Management Measures” should be used, and the strain must adapt to the climate conditions of Yichun City, have strong resistance to adverse factors, robust mycelium growth, uniform primordia production, rapid fruiting, high yield, and good commercial quality, such as Hewei 15, Hewei Ban Jin, and Hezun 2. 5.2 Production environment 5.2.1 Natural environment: Wu Cui District is located in the Yanshan Mountain Range, bordering the Lesser Khingan Range on the flanks of the Himalayas and Xinjiang Plateau. It belongs to a low-mountain hilly area with a west-high, east-low terrain and an average altitude of 375 meters. The spring and autumn are windy with little rainfall, while the summer is rainy. The average annual temperature is around 0.4°C, with a plant growth period of approximately 100-120 days. There are 12 rivers and streams in the area, a forest area of 139,483.9 hectares with a forest coverage rate of 90%, and 15 types of forest types and tree species. There are 67 municipal-level wetland protection areas.
