Scope
This standard specifies the chemical analysis methods, ion chromatography, and X-ray fluorescence analysis methods for determining the loss on ignition (LOI), SiO2, Fe2O3, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, SO3, K2O, Na2O, adhered chloride ions, moisture content, and clay content in Chinese ISO standard sands. The chemical analysis methods for standard sands are divided into reference methods and substitute methods. If multiple measurement methods are listed for the same component, the reference method shall prevail in case of disputes. This standard applies to Chinese ISO standard sands.
