Scope

This part of GB/T 7260 specifies the procedures and requirements for environmental declarations of uninterruptible power supply systems, with the aim of reducing any negative environmental impacts of uninterruptible power supply systems throughout their life cycle. This part is coordinated with applicable similar general environmental standards and includes additional detailed information related to uninterruptible power supply systems.
This part applies to uninterruptible power supply systems with fixed frequency, single-phase or three-phase AC output voltages not exceeding 1,000 V, which are portable, non-portable, and fixed-installation, and are specified by IEC 62040-1, IEC 62040-2, and IEC 62040-3:2011. These systems are typically connected to energy storage devices via a DC link.
This part does not include:
——Traditional AC input and output distribution boards;
——DC distribution boards and their associated switches (such as battery switches, rectifier output switches, or inverter input switches);
——Independent static switching systems specified by IEC 62310-1, IEC 62310-2, and IEC 62310-3;
——Systems with output voltages derived from rotating machines.
