This document specifies the basic dimensional characteristics of steel spiral retaining oil rings for piston rings with models SOR (R-type oil tank) and SOV (V-type oil tank).
This document is applicable to steel spiral retaining oil rings for reciprocating internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter of 60 mm to 160 mm. Steel spiral retaining oil rings for compressors operating under similar conditions may also be used as a reference.
