Scope

This rule applies to the installation, modification, major repair supervision and inspection, and regular inspection of hydraulic elevators (except for explosion-proof elevators, firefighter elevators, and utility elevators). The production (including the design, manufacture, installation, modification, repair, and daily maintenance of hydraulic elevators, hereinafter the same) and use units of the hydraulic elevators mentioned in the preceding paragraph, as well as special equipment inspection and testing agencies engaged in the supervision and inspection and regular inspection of hydraulic elevators, shall comply with the provisions of this rule.
