Scope

Article I: In order to enhance the uniformity and effectiveness of special equipment informatization work, ensure the smooth flow, security, and sharing of information, and improve the efficiency and service capabilities of special equipment safety supervision, these rules are formulated in accordance with the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment" and relevant laws and regulations. Article II: Special equipment informatization work refers to the collection, storage, transmission, processing, utilization, and dissemination of special equipment information using modern information and communication technologies. Special equipment information refers to the objective facts and descriptions generated by special equipment and related units and personnel during the production (including design, manufacturing, installation, modification, repair, etc.), use, inspection and testing, administrative licensing, supervision and inspection, and accident investigation and handling processes. Special equipment data is the specific manifestation of special equipment information, and the special equipment database is a collection of special equipment data organized and stored according to prescribed data structures. Article III: These rules are the basic requirements for the management of special equipment informatization work.
