Scope

In order to unify the configuration standards of ventilation safety equipment in coal mines and ensure that it is technologically advanced, economically reasonable, and safe and reliable, this standard is formulated. This standard applies to the configuration of ventilation safety equipment in newly built, reconstructed, and expanded coal mines. Ventilation safety equipment should be based on the specific conditions of the mine and adopt new equipment and materials that are suitable for local conditions, while phasing out outdated equipment. In addition to complying with this standard, the configuration of ventilation safety equipment in coal mines should also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
