Scope

This document defines the symbols used on the control mechanisms and other display devices of forestry machinery operators.
Note 1: GB/T 4269.1 covers general symbols applicable to various agricultural tractors and machinery, forestry machinery, and lawn and horticultural power equipment. GB/T 4269.2 covers symbols for agricultural tractors and machinery. GB/T 4269.3 covers symbols for lawn and horticultural power equipment. GB/T 4269.5 covers symbols for portable forestry machinery.
Note 2: Other standard symbols that may be relevant to forestry machinery can be found in ISO 7000 and IEC 60417.
